Withstanding the Fiery Furnace Summary

A man’s faith is put to the test when secrets, war, and revolution tear his family apart.

Jacob sees no reason to fear as the Great War heats up Eastern Europe. But a secret from his past threatens their peaceful household. As tensions increase in his family and church, so does the political landscape. The war has brought not just hardship but revolution.

As members of the upper class, Jacob and his family become prime targets for the Bolsheviks and anarchists. Will they escape the implacable foes that seek to destroy them and manage to repair their own tattered relationships?

Withstanding the Fiery Furnace is based on real-life experiences of the author’s great-great-great grandfather. Set against the backdrop of World War I and the Russian Revolution, this story recounts the struggles Jacob and his family faced and how their faith guided them on a path to wholeness.
