Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since the last update. I took a break from writing, not by choice, since November 2022 due to health concerns. I was unable to write due to the pain I was in. Since the middle of February, I dove back into writing a short story while I’m waiting for a surgery date. The first draft is about halfway done and it is starting to be longer than a short story. I’m excited to see where this story goes since it is a type of writing I’ve never done before. I am still writing the sequel to Withstanding the Fiery Furnace. I felt called to re-write a collection of short stories before diving into a bigger project. The journey in writing this short story has its challenges as I dealt with fear and doubt in regards to writing. Dismantling the fear and doubt has helped a lot in breaking free from the blocks I was having. I wanted to provide an update of what’s been going on and I do want to get back into the rhythm of staying in contact with all of you.
